総合内科専門医として、一般内科の診療から、「おなかのスペシャリスト」として、私の専門中の専門である消化管内視鏡検査・治療(胃カメラ、大腸カメラ、日帰り大腸ポリープ手術)まで丁寧に幅広く診療し、地域のみなさまが健康に笑顔で過ごせるよう、サポートいたします。
私は東京大学医学部医学科を卒業後、東京大学医学部附属病院、JR東京総合病院、日本赤十字社医療センターで経験を積み、医学博士号を取得、生活習慣病の診療・研究で有名な朝日生命成人病研究所で消化器内科部長を務めました。その後ニューヨークのコロンビア大学への留学を経て、「苦痛の少ない内視鏡を普及させ、胃や大腸の病気の早期発見・早期治療に力を尽くしたい」と考え、当クリニックを開院いたしました。
私の医師としての目標は「がんで亡くなる人をゼロにする」ことです。がん死因の多くを占める胃がん・大腸がんは、早期発見・早期治療により「治す」ことのできる時代です。そのためには定期的に内視鏡検査を受けていただくことが大切です。
当院では、検査を受ける患者様の苦痛を最小限にしながら、世界トップレベルの内視鏡検査を提供し、病気の予防・早期発見・早期治療を行います。また、検査の必要性をご納得いただけるように、検査前には「どのような検査なのか」、検査後には「検査の結果」について、わかりやすい説明をいたします。「苦痛の少ない」胃カメラ・大腸内視鏡を受けていただくことで、定期的に内視鏡検査を受けたいと思っていただき、地域で「がんで亡くなる方がいなくなる」ことを目指しています。
